Each day the Soldier Hollow Classic is filled with unique sights, sounds, smells and tastes! While there is open sheepdog competition each day the nature of that competition changes as the event progresses. On the first day the dogs face their greatest challenge: a new course and wild sheep. On the second and third days the top dogs begin to learn about the hill and the sheep they face. Border Collies are the world's smartest dogs and you can actually watch them learn by coming on more than one day. By Monday, Labor Day, only the 15 best dogs from the first three days advance to the Supreme Grand Championship.
Events, performances, demonstrations and activities also vary from day to day. You'll enjoy bagpipe music, great food, arts and crafts, animal activities and demonstrations. The whole event concludes Monday afternoon with the official medals ceremonies.
NO SPECTATOR DOGS ALLOWED
